1. Product Condition & Antiques Disclosure

All of our inventory includes antique and vintage items. Please note:

• Signs of wear are considered part of the charm and authenticity of antique and vintage items.

• Scratches, chips, dents, cracks, and uneven coloring are common and expected.

• Climate changes may cause minor cracking, warping, or sticky drawers due to the natural age of materials.

• We strive to represent each piece accurately through photographs and descriptions. If you would like additional photos or details prior to purchase, we are happy to provide them.

• We do not offer appraisal services & can not professionally confirm the value of your antiques. We recommend seeking expert advice from a local appraiser

2. Lead-Based Paint Disclosure & Liability Release

Due to the age of our antique and vintage inventory, products may contain lead-based paint or other chemicals common in historical manufacturing.

• No Testing: Annapolis Antiques & Interiors does not test items for the presence of lead-based paint or hazardous substances.

• Buyer Assumption of Risk: By purchasing, the buyer acknowledges that antique items may contain lead or other such substances. The buyer assumes all responsibility for any testing, remediation, or risks associated with lead exposure.

• Liability Waiver: By purchasing from Annapolis Antiques & Interiors you agree that Annapolis Antiques & Interiors shall not be held liable for any illness, injury, or damages resulting from the presence of lead paint or other historical materials in our products. We recommend using caution and consulting safety guidelines if you plan to sand, strip, or refinish any antique item.

3. Return & Refund Policy

All sales are final. We do not accept returns. If you purchase an item for local pickup and decide you do not want the item after viewing it in person, you can receive a full refund to your original form of payment, minus $150 in-person appointment fee.

• To avoid surprises or uncertainty, we encourage all questions or concerns before completing your order.

4. Damage or Missing Items

Please contact us immediately if your item arrives damaged or is missing.

• All items are shipped with insurance, and you are required to fully cooperate with Annapolis Antiques & Interiors and its owner(s) and employee(s) in filing a claim with the courier, insurer, or other appropriate party. In the event that insurance denies your claim, you will not receive a refund from Annapolis Antiques & Interiors. 

• Annapolis Antiques & Interiors is not liable for lost or damaged items once in the purchaser’s possession or the possession of a third-party shipping provider.  

5. Sales Tax

• If sales tax is not included for your order(s), you are responsible for remitting applicable taxes to their local jurisdiction.

6. Shipping & Delivery Policy

• Annapolis Antiques & Interiors offers shipping on smaller items, like gifts, to the contiguous 48 states of the United States of America. 

If you wish to ship an item that is currently available for local pickup only, contact us to discuss whether this is possible. Please provide contact details for your preferred shipper.

Our team reviews online orders. Please note whether your item is for pickup or shipping at the time of purchase.

Liability: Shippers insure & take full responsibility after pickup. Notify the shipper of any damage as soon as possible. Photos, videos & packaging materials can help support a claim.

7. Customer Responsibility

By placing an order, you agree to:

• Accept the characteristics, condition, and potential material risks (such as lead paint) of antique items.

• Accept responsibility for taxes, delivery logistics, and communication with couriers.

• Communicate promptly and fully cooperate regarding any issues or claims.

• Understand that shipping times are estimates, not guarantees.

8. Payment Methods

We accept major forms of payment including Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and other commonly used credit or debit cards through our secure checkout system.  

9. Local Pickup (If Applicable)

For larger items (like furniture) Annapolis Antiques & Interiors offers local pickup only from our storage facility. As stated in Paragraph 3, if you purchase an item for local pickup and decide you do not want the item after viewing it in person, you can receive a full refund to your original form of payment, minus $150 in-person appointment fee.

10. Policy Updates

Annapolis Antiques & Interiors reserves the right to update these terms without notice. The most current version will always be available on our website.

11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Maryland.

• In the event of any dispute, contact us at info@annapolisantiquesandinteriors.com for informal resolution.

• Any legal action must be filed in a state court located in Anne Arundel County, Maryland or federal court located in Maryland.

• Annapolis Antiques & Interiors shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use our products.
